A TOP of the range sports car has been plastered with a parking fine while its driver was shopping in London's upmarket jewellery district.
The shiny new BMW i8, worth £100,000, was parked six inches outside the designated bay - with the parking warden immediately zoning in.

The car was parked without a resident permit, with the front wheel also sticking out into the road in Hatton Garden, London's jewellery quarter.
The warden waited for several minutes for the driver to return before pouncing on the vehicle in Greville Street.
He issued an £80 parking fine for the offence.
